From far away , you can see  the fairy-tale impressed castle, with its distinctive Silhouette. The idyllic location of Neuschwanstein is unique and the lock in seems to be upper Bavarian mountain world built to be. 

Built the fairy tale castle in 1869, at the request of the former Bavarian king Ludwig II , who wanted a retreat in the style of the historic castles.

However, this was his castle only a few weeks as a refuge away from the crowds, before he on 13. June 1886 mysteriously died. Seven weeks later, it was the lock is released Neuschwanstein castle as a Museum.

With the Carriage it goes back to the Parking lot and the journey continues to the picturesque Linderhof Castle . Take your time for visitng and relaing. 

Castle Linderhof is the smallest of three Royal castles, and was the favorite  castle of the fairytale king , in which he lived. The romantic Park with a 22-metre-high fountain, as well as a terrace complex with a temple of Venus invite you to linger. 

The return trip is going via Oberstaufen (stay) in the Bregenz forest, Alberschwende, Apiculture, an exhibition distillery (stay), Bregenz back to your Hotel / Apartment
